Qualifications

If you are fully external to the OCDSB, you may apply to this posting if you have the required qualifications. Please be advised that our order of consideration for Elementary LTO's is as follows:

  • Current elementary occasional teacher applicants, followed by
  • Qualified external applicants.

Additional Requirements (experience, knowledge, education) considered an asset for the Position:

  • Spec Ed and experience with Son‑au‑graphe literacy program and Acadience assessments would be an asset.
  • We are looking for a candidate with experience leading the literacy instruction with Son‑au‑graphe and use Acadience and Pratique phonémique for primary assessments.

Additional Information

  • Working with an Itinerant Educational Assistant or the Learning Support Team in an elementary setting to manage unexpected classroom behaviors effectively.
  • Limited parking available.
