Job description

Qualifications:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Tasks:

  1. Establish methods to meet work schedules
  2. Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  3. Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  4. Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
  5. Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  6. Prepare budget and cost estimates
  7. Address customers' complaints or concerns
  8. Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  9. Prepare and submit reports
  10. Prepare food order summaries for the chef
  11. Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
  12. Supervise and check the assembly of trays
  13. Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys
  14. Establish work schedules
