Overview

Sunshine Village is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented F&B Purchasing Supervisor to manage the procurement of goods and services. The Purchasing Officer will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, preparing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support operations and project needs.

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented F&B Purchasing Supervisor to manage the procurement of goods and services for Sunshine Village. The Purchasing Officer will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, preparing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support operations and project needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, delivery speed, and reliability.
  • Request and compare quotations from vendors and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor order status and follow up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important procurement data.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to determine purchasing needs and inventory levels.
  • Resolve issues related to defective goods, delivery delays, or invoice discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal guidelines, and quality standards.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
  • Act as the person in charge of our inventory control system.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain role.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing software (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, Yellow dog).
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks under deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in hospitality industry
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and sourcing strategies.
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus.
Working Conditions
  • Office environment with occasional visits to supplier sites or warehouses.
  • Regular working hours with occasional overtime depending on operational demands.

  • Employees must always be of sound mind, exhibit good judgment, and report to work fit for duty.
  • This position works at high altitude and at times, in inclement weather. An appropriate level of physical fitness is required.
