Salary

$19.00 to $23.00 per hour (To be negotiated)

Responsibilities
  • Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
  • Monitor staff performance
  • Plan and organize daily operations
  • Recruit staff
  • Set staff work schedules
  • Supervise staff
  • Train staff
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Lead/instruct individuals
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Provide customer service
  • Manage events
Supervision
  • 5–10 people
Qualifications
  • Experience: 2 to < 3 years as a food and beverage service manager or similar
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • Certificates: Responsible Beverage Service Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Computer skills: Point of sale system
  • Work conditions: Fast‑paced environment; ability to work under pressure; attention to detail
  • Personal suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, organization, reliability
