Financial Service Representative – Amherstview

Comtech Fire Credit Union officially joined Your Neighbourhood Credit Union (YNCU) and began operating as YNCU on August 1, 2025. The successful candidate will become an employee of YNCU. The role will remain based at our Comtech Fire branch in Amherstview, which will continue to be identified as such for location clarity.

The Role

As part of our Retail Sales team, reporting to the Branch Manager, your main objective will be to assist our member’s in reaching financial comfort by developing a solid financial plan to efficiently manage their income, expenses, asset and liabilities in order to meet their short, medium and long term financial objectives, ultimately, allowing them to make strong, informed decisions. In addition, the Financial Services Representative (FSR) is required to market our products and services in line with our clearly defined policies and procedures. This position will be expected to promote, upsell and cross‑sell our full range of lending and investment vehicles with emphasis on consumer loans, mortgages, lines of credit, deposit and investment vehicles and sundry services.

Your opportunity

The Financial Services Representative builds long‑term profitable relationships with our members by providing value‑added advice and exceptional service. This position serves our members as follows:

  • Provide advocacy to members related to their accounts, cash services, ABM cards, deposit and investment needs
  • Serve as a resource for opening new member accounts, identify referral opportunities and build member relationships
  • Actively participate in all branch campaigns and promotions; work collectively with the branch team to achieve branch goals
  • Maintain up to date product knowledge and ensure adherence to the credit union’s policies and procedures

What We Are Looking For
  • Financial services experience is a pre‑requisite for applicants. Your qualifications must include at least 2 years of related work experience working towards and achieving financial services sales
  • Ideally, you have completed post‑secondary business or sales training courses
  • You have demonstrated initiative, the ability to build strong relationships and are organized and detail‑oriented
  • Positive, reliable and ethical
