Our client, a growth-focused energy services organization with a strong North American presence, is seeking a Financial Reporting Team Lead on a contract basis to join their Calgary team. This role provides exposure to senior leadership in a collaborative and high-performing environment where innovation, mentorship, and professional growth are deeply valued.

Overview

You will be responsible for preparing quarterly consolidated financial statements, MD&A, and management reporting packages while delivering detailed variance analysis for executive leadership and the audit committee. The role involves overseeing account analysis, intercompany reconciliations, and working paper preparation, as well as acting as a key liaison during quarterly reviews and annual audits. You will also manage the company\'s internal control program, conduct IFRS accounting research, and support special projects including purchase price allocations, process automation, and system optimization initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to drive efficiencies in reporting and contribute to continuous improvement across finance operations.

Responsibilities
