A community-focused dance school in Kingston is seeking a Part-Time Financial and Administrative Assistant to support the board, artistic director, and studio manager. Responsibilities include managing payments, tracking sales, compiling financial reports, and assisting with community outreach initiatives. The position offers a hybrid work model with an hourly pay range of $18-$22 CAD based on experience. Applicants should have relevant education and experience in finance or office administration.
Kingston School of Dance (“KSD”) is one of Kingston’s oldest and only non-for-profit dance school. It offers a beautiful space and likeminded caring professionals who are passionate about artistic expression, the community, and bringing excellence to the world of everything dance.
Currently we are looking for a Part-Time Financial and Administrative Assistant to provide support to the Board of Directors, Artistic Director and Studio Manager.
If you are looking to support a wonderful community and bring your financial and administrative expertise to a rewarding organization you might be who we are looking for! You will report to the Studio Manager, while providing support to the Artistic Director and the Board of Directors.
Your day to day will be interfacing with both the community, students, and your colleagues, while supporting documentation, administration, financial tasks, audits, reporting, analysis and the organization on the back end. This role has the ability to be hybrid, working remotely and supporting the office at the KSD location.
Hourly Pay Rate: $18- $22 CAD per hour (based on experience)
Schedule – 10 to 15 hours per week (must be available evenings and weekends)
Must be able to show proof that you are eligible to work in Canada & must be able to provide a clean criminal record check
