Key Responsibilities

• Finance Operations & Systems: Own monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Support and progressively take ownership of ASC 606 revenue recognition and subscription accounting
• Implement and optimize enterprise finance software (NetSuite, CRM, SaaS billing platforms) with path to financial systems ownership
• Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Operations on key business initiatives
• Compliance & Controls Leadership: Assist with coordination of audit and tax processes, managing external audit and tax relationships
• Design and implement robust internal controls over financial reporting
• Work directly with Controller on compliance with sales, use tax, franchise tax, and regulatory requirements
• Develop and maintain comprehensive accounting policies and procedures
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare comprehensive financial packages and provide analytical insights to senior leadership
• Develop business analysis that supports key decisions and growth initiatives
• Assist Director of FP&A with budgeting and forecasting
• Collaborate with RevOps on incentive compensation
• Treasury & Process Improvement: Optimize accounts payable and receivable processes, payment systems, and collections management
• Support banking relationships and treasury functions
• Lead special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned

Requirements

• CPA with accounting firm experience plus 1 year of industry experience, preferably in SaaS/technology or high-growth environments
• Experienced in US GAAP (ASC 606 knowledge is a bonus)
• Demonstrated experience implementing enterprise financial systems (ERP, CRM, billing platforms), reporting and compliance
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling
• Demonstrated strategic mindset, growth orientation, and process optimization
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Comfort with AI and able to display applicable use cases across the finance organization
