Job summary

A city municipality in York Region is looking for a Junior Business Analyst to support financial modernization. This role bridges Finance and IT, focusing on optimizing financial processes and system integrations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, relevant experience, and proficiency in ERP systems like SAP and data visualization tools such as Power BI. This is a temporary full-time contract position with a pay range of $48.14 to $54.88 hourly, lasting for 12 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst in finance, process improvement, or IT integration environments.
• Demonstrated experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and business process documentation.
• Experience designing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and data models.

Responsibilities

• Map end-to-end financial processes and document business and system requirements.
• Partner with IT to define functional and technical requirements for financial systems.
• Design and maintain Power BI dashboards to monitor KPIs.
