Overview

We are currently seeking full-time Field Assistants based out of our Blackfalds (Red Deer) location. These positions are field based, involving approximately 20 days a month travelling to work sites throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Northern British Columbia to perform gas well testing duties. About You
  • Field Assistants do not require any experience in the oil & gas industry or Well Testing
  • Reside in the Red Deer area (within 30 minutes of our shop)
  • Required certifications; Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, CSO training from Energy Safety Canada
  • Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screens are required for all Safety Sensitive Positions
Major Roles & Responsibilities
  • Aiding in the rig in and out of the equipment associated with the job
  • General maintenance and servicing all well testing equipment, with direction from Supervisor
  • Perform accurate readings of gauges and monitors during shift
  • Working knowledge of rules and regulations provided by governing regulatory bodies and the willingness to ask questions if things are unclear
  • Adherence to Colter safety guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Able to work away from home and necessary hours that can exceed 12 per shift
  • Able and willing to follow direction for assigned duties from Field Supervisors and Management

Day rates start at $ 300, plus subsistence
