The Family Centre is looking for (3) Family Connectors who enjoy building effective working relationships with families, community resources, and various supportive parties. We are focused on Trauma-Informed Care for both our communities and staff teams, and provide services based on research and evidence-based practices. As a Family Connector (FC), you will provide in-home and community-based support to vulnerable children and families who have Children and Family Services involvement. Your caseload will include primarily Indigenous families and individuals who have experienced trauma and multigenerational abuse and neglect. Operating on a flexible work schedule which includes some evenings and weekends, you will build therapeutic relationships with parents using basic counselling skills and a trauma-informed care approach. You will work as a member of a collaborative team and will be responsible for the coordination, initiation, and mobilization of internal and external resources required to meet the service plan objectives. You will engage your excellent problem solving, organizational and collaborative skills.
