Job summary

Work Rotation

Approx. 20 days per month in the field during seasonal exploration programs (fly‑in/ fly‑out). 40‑hour work week in the office.

Responsibilities
  • Log drill core and assist in geological interpretations using supporting datasets and software tools.
  • Conduct geological mapping, prospecting, and geochemical sampling.
  • Ensure the quality, completeness, and organization of all field data, working closely with the Database Manager and Qualified Person(s).
  • Support the Project Manager with daily coordination of field activities, including supervision of junior staff and contractors, procurement of supplies and services, permitting, and preparation/implementation of health and safety plans.
  • Supervise all exploration activities during field programs when the Project Manager or senior management is off‑site.
  • Prepare and contribute to technical documentation, including internal memos, monthly updates, and annual reports for senior management, the Board, and external stakeholders.
  • Promote a positive and collaborative team culture, maintaining open communication with colleagues, contractors, and community partners.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Geoscience or a related field (post‑graduate training in economic geology is considered an asset).
  • Minimum 2 years of mineral exploration experience, with preference for experience in orogenic gold systems.
  • Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) industry software such as Leapfrog, ArcGIS Pro, ioGAS, and digital field data platforms.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Self‑motivated and results‑oriented with a proactive approach to tasks and challenges.
  • Physically able and willing to work in remote, rugged terrain under varied weather conditions.
  • Committed to health and safety best practices.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
  • Eligibility for registration as a GIT or P.Geo. in a Canadian jurisdiction.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
