A leading events organization in Calgary is seeking an Events Coordinator to manage high-quality events including executive experiences and Stampede. The role requires over 5 years of event coordination experience with strong operational and logistics skills. Responsibilities include planning event logistics, vendor coordination, and ensuring a premium guest experience in a fast-paced environment. This is a 10-month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full-time.
The Events Coordinator plays a critical role in the planning, coordination, and execution of the company’s most visible and high‑quality events, including Stampede and other executive‑level experiences. Supporting high‑visibility events across the organization, this role works closely with the Senior Advisor, Executive Leadership Team members, Board Members, vendors, and internal partners to ensure seamless delivery and an elevated guest experience. This is not a traditional desk‑based role; the successful candidate will be highly people‑facing, service‑oriented, and comfortable operating in fast‑paced, high‑expectation environments. On a day‑to‑day basis, the Events Coordinator manages end‑to‑end event logistics from planning through on‑site execution, including vendor and venue coordination, catering, AV/IT, registration, gifting, hospitality services, and detailed timelines and logistics tracking. The role requires frequent interaction with senior leaders and VIP guests, strong organizational discipline to manage multiple events concurrently, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and extended hours during peak event periods. In accomplishing this work, the Events Coordinator delivers consistently premium‑quality events, acts as a trusted extension of the Senior Advisor by anticipating needs and managing complex logistics, and ensures every event meets a high standard of professionalism, hospitality, and executive presence. This is a 10‑month contract role, hybrid in Calgary, with a high possibility of extension or conversion to full‑time.
