Overview

A career in our Finance Transformation practice, within Consulting services, will provide the opportunity to work alongside Finance leaders to optimize the structure of their finance functions, re-architect Finance processes and implement best‑of‑breed technology to enable their transformation journey. Join a team of business professionals who work with clients to solve complex problems while utilizing tools to digitally upskill Finance teams. Work with clients to establish and deliver on their transformation roadmap to create value for Finance and beyond. Working in a diverse team, you will help our clients identify process, performance and people and lead the development of meaningful solutions to deliver sustainable change.

Responsibilities

Engagement Delivery

  • Work on challenging and rewarding engagements with cross‑functional teams (client finance/IT, PwC technical leads, offshore teams)
  • Contribute to the design, build, testing, and deployment of EPM solutions (e.g., planning, consolidation, reporting, master data, and integrations)
  • Configure application components such as business rules, calculations, dimensions, workflows, forms, reports, and dashboards
  • Support requirements gathering by documenting current processes, identifying pain points, and translating needs into functional and technical specifications
  • Perform detailed solution testing (unit, SIT, UAT support), troubleshoot defects, and ensure deliverables are accurate, complete, and aligned to design
  • Conduct data validation, reconciliation activities, and hands‑on analysis to ensure data quality and integrity across EPM modules
  • Prepare and deliver user training materials, demos, and documentation

Project Coordination

  • Support workstream leads and managers with project planning, task coordination, and weekly status updates
  • Own smaller work packages or components end‑to‑end, ensuring progress and quality
  • Escalate risks, issues, and blockers promptly with clear context and recommended options
  • Maintain high‑quality documentation: RAID logs, design documents, test evidence, meeting notes, action trackers
  • Support change management activities, including stakeholder communication, training prep, and readiness assessments

Business Development

  • Contribute to proposal development through research, slide preparation, use‑case articulation, and drafting portions of the technical approach
  • Help prepare points‑of‑view, benchmarking analysis, and thought leadership based on industry trends in EPM, finance transformation, and cloud technology
  • Demonstrate strong client presence and relationship‑building skills in daily interactions, establishing trust and credibility as a knowledgeable advisor
Experience and Skills

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Systems Analysis or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of advisory or consulting experience in enterprise performance management, finance transformation, or related software implementation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree (MBA) or advanced degree in a relevant discipline
  • Professional certifications such as OneStream, Anaplan, Oracle (EPBCS, FCCS, ARCS, EDMCS, PCMCS), CPA
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning, rolling forecasts, KPIs and management reporting
  • Familiarity with financial consolidation, statutory/SEC reporting, master data management, account reconciliations
  • Strong consulting mindset: client service orientation, flexible in prioritising tasks, comfortable in an agile project environment, able to work with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word
