Qualifications

This role is a cornerstone of the manufacturing & logistics department, where you will manage the entire lifecycle of welding equipment—from initial design and procurement to final installation and production support. Responsibilities

  • Write detailed technical specifications for the procurement of new welding equipment, tooling, and utilities.
  • Lead the design, construction, and acceptance testing for new welding jigs and automated machinery.
  • Define and optimize operating process parameters for all welding equipment and specialized tooling.
  • Contribute to maintenance documentation, including spare parts lists, PM schedules, and lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Support the manufacturing of prototype parts and communicate technical lessons learned to the production team.
  • Program and set up all welding equipment for new jigs and processes to ensure a seamless production launch.
Skills
  • Experience with machine integration and automated system synchronization.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (Inventor or AutoCAD) for designing or modifying tooling components.
  • Strong command of the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and manual MIG/stick welders.
  • Exceptional ability to prioritize and multi‑task in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced skills in reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical schematics, and pneumatic/hydraulic diagrams.
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills within a technical, cross‑functional team.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills for technical reporting and team collaboration.
