The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of experience in project management or engineering, a degree in engineering, and familiarity with project controls. Join our Project Engineering team as a Project Engineer, where you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting Manufacturing Engineering for cutting-edge naval programs. This position is ideal for a systems thinker who thrives on collaboration, problem-solving, and delivering results in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications
  • Education: Degree in Engineering, Project Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Credentials: P. Eng or CET preferred; PMP and Lean Six Sigma certifications are assets.
  • Experience:
  • 4–6 years in Project Management or Engineering on large, complex defense or manufacturing projects.
  • Familiarity with project controls, performance management, scheduling, and delivery.
  • Experience coordinating across multiple organizations is an asset.

Due to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Please note this position requires a full-time, in-office presence.
