We’re looking for a full-time Electro-Mechanical Lead Engineer @ St-Bruno, Qc, CA. Could it be you?

Your future role

The Lead Electro-Mechanical Engineer is responsible for leading a functional team, defining project guidelines and architecture, and ensuring development and successful on-time, high-quality design implementation. All deliverables must meet internal and external standards and customer specifications. Activities will be performed in accordance with strict Health & Safety procedures, as prescribed by legislation and Alstom policies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, piloting, and reporting on Electro-Mechanical Domain activities and related deliverables
  • Designing products considering project requirements
  • Managing production of deliverables on assigned EMD work packages
  • Monitoring assigned Electro-Mechanical Installations, Locker, and Harness Volume definitions
  • Submitting Material Planning documents (Purchase Orders, Schedule Agreements) and following up with Suppliers

We look for you to:

  • Ensure project Electro-Mechanical Domain activities comply with QCD commitments
  • Support Sourcing, Industrialization, and Manufacturing during Production ramp-up
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in the TE Electro-Mechanical Domain


About you

  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent, with significant project management experience
  • Experience in manufacturing production environment
  • Mechanical/Electro-mechanical design using Catia V5 or equivalent
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and computer proficiency
  • Strong team leadership and excellent communication skills in French
  • ERP knowledge (SAP preferred)
