A local educational institution is seeking a Supply Educational Resource Worker/Educational Assistant to support students in the Orangeville, Caledon, and Bolton area. The ideal candidate will assist in the inclusion of students with differing abilities, collaborating closely with a special education team. Responsibilities include providing physical support and creating personalized learning strategies. Candidates should have a relevant diploma and experience with special needs students. Duties are assigned as determined by students’ needs as per Ministry of Education regulations and Board and practices.
Educational Resource Workers work as a collaborative team member to facilitate the inclusion of students with differing abilities/diverse learning needs. The Educational Resource Worker is assigned to a Family of Schools and is accountable to the School Principal and/or designate.
Police Record Check: This role will a Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check dated with six (6) months of hire date and to be provided to Human Resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for any cost associated with obtaining. The Police Record Check will be required to be renewed every 5 years.
