Are you a strategic leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about operational excellence? ArborMetrics Canada is seeking a results-driven Director of Operations, Canada to lead and oversee all operational functions across Canada.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for aligning regional operations with corporate objectives, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving performance across teams and territories. What You Will Do
  • Lead and manage all Canadian operational functions, including workforce planning, client relations, compliance, and service delivery.
  • Serve as the primary executive liaison for Canadian clients, partners, and regulatory bodies, and collaborate with Executive Leadership to set strategic goals, report progress, and make operational decisions.
  • Supervise distributed teams across Canada and support Field and Project Managers to ensure alignment with strategic goals and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Monitor business support functions to ensure smooth operations, contract compliance, and goal attainment.
  • Collaborate with Directors to review financials, drive profitability, and enhance synergies across support functions.
  • Develop, analyze, and improve business metrics to manage operations and lead initiatives that enhance safety, training, quality, productivity, customer service, and compliance.
  • Continuously review and standardize operational processes, identifying opportunities to integrate technology for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coach and develop managers, provide ongoing performance feedback and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Champion the Company’s mission and values, inspiring others to integrate them into daily decisions and activities.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Environmental Science or industry related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in utility corridor management, remote sensing, or vegetation management.
  • Experience and proven leadership ability, industry-specific knowledge gained through experience
  • Experience having applied seasoned business judgment to operational issues and advising on appropriate solutions
Working Environment

This is a remote office environment with 40% travel requirements. The conditions herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
