A national not-for-profit organization in Canada is seeking a Director of Design and Implementation to oversee technology solutions that support Extended Producer Responsibility. This senior role involves providing strategic direction, managing a high-performing team, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in solution design and project delivery, emphasizing strong leadership and technological alignment with business objectives. This is a full-time position based in Ottawa.
Reporting to VP Solution Design and Development the Director Design and Implementation is a senior leader within the IT Solution Design department responsible for driving the successful design delivery and implementation of technology solutions that support business objectives for Extended Producer Responsibility. This role oversees a team of information analysts QA testers and implementation specialists and works closely with cross‑functional teams ensuring solutions are innovative, scalable and aligned with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements for Producer Responsibility Organizations (PRO).
As a key partner to both business and technology leadership the Director will play a pivotal role in shaping solution roadmaps, guiding design practices and ensuring high‑quality execution from concept to implementation.
This is a salary paid position requiring residency in Canada.
Circular Materials is a national not‑for‑profit producer responsibility organization (PRO) that supports producers in meeting their extended producer responsibility (EPR) obligations across Canada. Created by producers for producers Circular Materials develops, implements and supports effective and efficient recycling programs to advance innovation, deliver improved environmental outcomes and drive value across the recycling supply chain. Our full‑service offerings include collection management, promotion, education and reporting.
