Overview

Responsible for the strategy, planning and operations of Carleton’s undergraduate awards and financial aid programs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead strategy for undergraduate awards and financial aid programs.
  • Plan and oversee operations to ensure effective service delivery and governance.
  • Collaborate with campus partners to align awards and financial aid with University priorities.
Qualifications

Knowledge and skills :

  • Knowledge of leadership practices in people management, strategic planning and risk management, policy development, financial management and stakeholder relationship management
  • Issues and trends at Carleton and in the higher education sector related to awards and financial aid
  • Knowledge of rules and regulations governing the range of financial instruments deployed for student awards and support
  • Contemporary best practices in awards management programs, service delivery models and enabling technologies
  • Knowledge is deployed to develop and lead a major functional area within the university

Education and Experience :

  • Minimum of seven years of previous experience in progressive leadership roles
