As an Engineering Program Manager, you will report to the Associate Director of DPHM Engineering and be responsible for directing all phases of engine health management programs and projects from inception through completion, and for coordinating the administrative and operational aspects of ongoing technical projects within program guidelines.

You will also oversee technical reviews and plan and support engine health management services and product proposals, business plans, specifications, operating budgets, and the financial terms of contracts.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours, based in Toronto or Longueuil, and performed on-site.

En tant que gestionnaire de programme d’ingénierie, vous relèverez du directeur associé de l’ingénierie DPHM et serez responsable de la direction de toutes les phases des programmes et projets liés à la gestion de l’état des moteurs, de leur conception à leur achèvement, ainsi que de la supervision et de la coordination des aspects administratifs et opérationnels des projets techniques en cours, conformément aux directives du programme.

En tant que gestionnaire de programme d’ingénierie, vous superviserez également les revues techniques, planifierez et soutindrez les services de gestion de l’état des moteurs et les propositions de projets, les plans d’affaires, les spécifications, les budgets d’exploitation et les conditions financières des contrats.

Il s’agit d’un poste à temps plein du lundi au vendredi, avec des horaires flexibles, basé à Toronto ou à Longueuil, et effectué exclusivement sur place.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Review project and budget status, manage schedules and prepare technical reports on products and services.
  • Own and execute long-term digital strategies unique for each market segment and set operational direction for the project management team.
  • Monitor and assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals.
  • Direct the work of employees assigned on projects in technical, manufacturing and administrative areas and create workforce and staffing plans.
  • Establish design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test.
  • Develop critical strategic and operational goals with significant impact on achievement of operational results.
  • Liase between project management and resource management teams.
  • Lead change management initiatives to support launch and deployment of new engine program digital engine services.
  • Lead technical coordination efforts within DPHM engineering groups, engine program managers and customers for project success.
  • Communicate project risks, raise change requests and find feasible solutions, and ensure best practices and processes are followed throughout project execution.

  • Licence ou Master en génie aérospatial ou mécanique
  • Dix années d'expérience professionnelle sont requises dans le domaine de l'aviation, avec une spécialisation en analyse des performances et de l'opérabilité des moteurs, ainsi qu'en développement de services numériques et en intégration de systèmes.
  • Ce poste s'inscrit dans un environnement de travail francophone et requiert une excellente maîtrise de l'anglais pour lire et comprendre au quotidien la documentation et les termes techniques émanant d'organisations internationales, ainsi que pour rédiger et communiquer en anglais avec des clients, des fournisseurs ou des collègues internationaux.

Required Skills

  • Certification in Project Management with proven program / project management experience
  • Experience in aircraft engine performance and operability analysis
  • Experience in engine control systems, avionics system design, development and aircraft integration
  • Extensive management and leadership knowledge to lead cross-department project teams
  • Strong oral and written English communication skills and ability to communicate with senior executive leadership
  • Experience with Agile development standards
  • Strong analytical skills and highly motivated with effective problem-solving skills and collaborative with strong teamwork skills
  • Proficient at handling several analytical tasks concurrently
