A leading engineering organization in Toronto is seeking a Design Manager for the Gateway Program. The role requires overseeing multidisciplinary design standards, facilitating design reviews, and managing client interfaces for a large capital project. Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in design management, particularly in new terminal construction. Strong skills in AutoCAD and Revit are essential, alongside excellent stakeholder engagement abilities. The position is full-time with competitive compensation between $125,000 to $175,000 annually.
The Design Manager, Gateway Program role will be hired under the Engineering Management Centre of Excellence group within the Engineering Management Technical Professional Organization (TPO) of Engineering Services Canada. The Design Manager, Gateway Program role will play a support role in the delivery of Engineering Services on a large project under the GTAA project.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the candidate will lead and coordinate the implementation of multidisciplinary design standards and works collaboratively with the main contractor. Responsibilities include oversight of pre-construction phase services, client interface at multiple levels, design consultancy management, facilitating design reviews, external stakeholder management, and technical assistance.

Location Requirements- In person 5 days a week at project office.
Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $ 125 000 to 175 000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
