Job summary

Save-On-Foods delivery drivers are needed in Winnipeg, MB to deliver groceries using a company vehicle and provide exceptional customer-first service from store to door.

You will work with the online shopping team and customer service to resolve issues, meet operational standards, and drive safely in all weather conditions. Benefit from weekly pay, discounts, pension eligibility, wellness programs and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Valid MB Class 5 driver’s license.
• Clean driving record as shown on your driver’s abstract.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and proactive attitude.
• Comfort with mobile tech and GPS navigation on the job.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van with customer-first service.
• Collaborate with online shopping team and customer service to resolve issues.
• Meet operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely and follow traffic rules.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have:

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from MB.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing.
• Must be able to travel and make deliveries throughout the day and evening in all weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
