Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Winnipeg, MB is hiring Delivery Drivers to join our online shopping fulfillment team. You will deliver groceries in a fully equipped van, provide friendly, customer-first service, and support the online shopping center.

Facilities include a company vehicle, gas coverage, maintenance, and flexible hours; 16 to 32 hours weekly; lifting up to 40 pounds and work in all weather conditions are required.

• Proficiency with mobile technology including GPS apps and smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van and provide exceptional customer-first service.
• Collaborate with online shopping team and customer service center to resolve service issues.
• Meet operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely and in compliance with road rules.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle in clean and roadworthy condition.

We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Save-On-Foods locations in Winnipeg, MB.

16 to 32 hours per week.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have:

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver's license from MB.
• A clean driver's abstract.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing. Must be able to travel and make deliveries throughout the day and evening in all weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
