Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Kamloops, BC is hiring Delivery Drivers to join our growing online shopping fulfillment team. You will deliver groceries in a fully equipped van and provide exceptional customer-first service from store to door.

You will work with the online shopping team and customer service center to handle returns and refunds, maintain vehicle cleanliness, adhere to traffic laws, and perform physical duties including lifting up to 40 pounds. Training and a company vehicle are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van and provide exceptional customer-first service.
• Work with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve recovery cases (returns, refunds, etc.).
• Achieve operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate delivery vehicle safely according to traffic laws and maintain its cleanliness/roadworthiness.

You will be responsible for: Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service. Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc. Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department. Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road. Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness. Other duties as assigned.

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from BC.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• A current Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing.
• Must be able to travel and make deliveries throughout the day and evening in all weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
