Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Calgary is hiring a Delivery Driver to bring groceries from the store to customers’ doors, ensuring great service and on-time deliveries.

You will join the online shopping team, coordinate with customer service, and drive a van in all weather while maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Valid AB Class 5 driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience in customer service.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties.
• Proficiency with mobile technology, including GPS apps and smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van and provide exceptional customer-first service.
• Work with online shopping team and customer service center to resolve issues.
• Achieve operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely adhering to traffic rules.
• Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Save-On-Foods locations in North Calgary, AB.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have:

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from AB.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing. Must be able to travel and make deliveries throughout the day and evening in all weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
