Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Calgary is hiring Delivery Drivers to bring groceries from the store to customers' doors in a safe, friendly manner. You will operate a fully equipped van, use GPS tech, and uphold our customer-first service standards.

The role requires AB Class 5 license and a clean driving record; benefits include paid Fridays, discounts, pension eligibility, wellness program, and opportunities to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, pushing, and delivering in all weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using GPS and smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a van and provide customer-first service.
• Collaborate with online shopping team to resolve issues (returns, refunds, etc.).
• Meet operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate delivery vehicle safely and maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely and adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from AB.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, pushing, and making deliveries in all weather conditions, both day and evenings.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
