Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Calgary, AB, is hiring Delivery Drivers to join the Online Shopping team and bring groceries from store to customer doors. You’ll drive a fully equipped van and provide friendly, customer-first service.

You will coordinate with online shopping and customer service to resolve issues, maintain the vehicle, and follow safety rules while delivering in all weather. Join an energetic team and grow with us.

Qualifications

• A valid, full Class 5 Alberta driver's license.
• A clean driver's abstract.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• Strong work ethic and results-driven attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties.
• Proficiency with mobile tech, GPS apps and smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van and provide exceptional customer-first service.
• Collaborate with online shopping team and customer service to resolve issues (returns, refunds, etc.).
• Meet operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely and follow traffic rules.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle's cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Save-On-Foods locations in North Calgary, AB.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have:

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver's license from AB.
• A clean driver's abstract.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing. Must be able to travel and make deliveries throughout the day and evening in all weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
