Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Saskatoon, SK is hiring a Delivery Driver to deliver groceries in a company vehicle and provide exceptional customer-first service from store to door. You’ll work with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve issues and meet operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.

You must have a valid SK Class 5 license, a clean driving record, and experience in customer service.

• Comfort with physical tasks and weather-variations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van with a focus on customer-first service.

• Meet and maintain operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate delivery vehicle safely in accordance with road rules.
• Keep delivery vehicle clean and roadworthy; perform other duties as assigned.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have:

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver's license from SK.
• A clean driver's abstract.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing. Must be able to travel and make deliveries throughout the day and evening in all weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
