Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring Delivery Drivers in South Calgary, AB. You will deliver groceries in a fully equipped van and provide exceptional customer-first service, connecting with online shopping and customer service to resolve issues and ensure high standards for the Online Shopping Department.

Drive safely, adhere to road rules, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and handle deliveries in all weather, day and evening shifts. Training provided and advancement opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver's license from AB.
• Proficiency with mobile technology and GPS applications.

Responsibilities

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Coordinate with online shopping team and customer service to resolve issues (returns, refunds, etc.).
• Achieve operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely and follow traffic rules.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.

We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Save-On-Foods locations in South Calgary, AB.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely and adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have:

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver's license from AB.
• A clean driver's abstract.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, pushing, and making deliveries in all weather conditions, both day and evenings.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
