Job summary

Save-On-Foods Surrey is seeking Delivery Drivers to join our growing fulfillment team. You will deliver groceries in a van and provide exceptional customer-first service from store to door, while following safety rules and maintaining a clean vehicle.

This role requires a BC Class 5 license, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Proficiency with GPS and smartphones, plus solid customer service experience, will help you succeed in a fast-paced, community-focused

Qualifications

• Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van and provide exceptional customer-first service.
• Work with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieve operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Save-On-Foods locations in Surrey, BC.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have:

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from BC.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• A current Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing. Must be able to travel and make deliveries throughout the day and evening in all weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
