A community organization in Parry Sound is seeking a Day Camp Inclusion Counsellor to provide support for campers with additional needs. Responsibilities include assisting in developing inclusive programming, managing camper care, and ensuring a safe environment at camp. Candidates must have experience with behavior management, strong customer service skills, and valid First Aid and CPR certification. This is a summer contract running from June 22 to September 4, and applicants must be at least 17 years old by the end of 2026.

General Function:
Inclusion Counsellors are responsible for providing one on one support to campers with additional needs during their time at camp. Inclusion Counsellors are caring, enthusiastic, and patient. They will use strategies to ensure that their campers experience success in the camp program. Inclusion Counsellors will receive additional training and support, but should come into this role with some knowledge and experience related to inclusion. In this role staff will be required to work 7:00-3:00pm, 8:30-4:30pm, or 10:00-6:00pm.
