Job summary

Money Mart is seeking a Retail Team Member to support customers with personal lending and everyday financial services. You will interview, assess needs, and guide customers to suitable solutions while handling cash and POS transactions with accuracy.

Role combines sales, customer service, and branch operations. You’ll need strong communication, a high school diploma, and the ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience as a Retail Sales Associate, Sales Representative or similar role.
• 1+ years of experience in customer service and cash handling.
• Hands-on experience with POS transactions.
• Track record of achieving sales goals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional, and accurate customer service by assessing customer needs, completing transactions, answering questions, and identifying opportunities to promote and cross-sell products and services.
• Promote, recommend, and process loans, credit cards, cheque cashing, money transfers, money orders, bill payments, and other related products and services based on the customer's needs, financial circumstances and applicable company policies.
• Consistently identify cross-selling and referral opportunities during every customer interaction to increase product awareness and meet branch goals.
• Explain product and service features, fees, terms, options, renewals and refinancing clearly using approved materials.
• Process customer information accurately, ensure compliance, and maintain records in required systems.
