Job summary

Momentum Financial Services Group is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to support Money Mart customers with personal lending and everyday financial solutions. The role emphasizes friendly service, cross-selling, and accurate cash handling in a busy branch environment.

You will interact with customers to assess needs, process transactions, and promote related services, operating within compliance and regulatory guidelines. A high school diploma and prior POS experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience as a Retail Sales Associate, Sales Representative or similar role.
• Experience in customer service and cash handling.
• Hands-on experience with POS transactions.
• Track record of achieving sales goals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional, and accurate customer service by assessing customer needs, completing transactions, answering questions, and identifying opportunities to promote and cross-sell products and services.
• Promote, recommend, and process loans, credit cards, cheque cashing, money transfers, money orders, bill payments, and other related products and services based on the customer’s needs and policies.
• Identify cross-selling and referral opportunities during every customer interaction to increase product awareness and meet sales goals.
• Explain product features, benefits, fees, and payment terms using approved materials.
• Maintain accurate customer information and records in required systems.
