Cleanliness is a necessity of every business. As a Custodial Services worker on our team, you’ll take on the important job of keeping our operations and locations clean, so that our customers can stay happy and healthy.

Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• General and Heavy Duty Cleaning. We will Train - Vacuuming, Sweeping Mopping, cleaning of offices, showers, locker rooms, lunchrooms etc. - residential cleaning in an industrial environment
• Must be prompt, with professional attitude, and adherent to all strict safety policy and procedures.
• Reading and Writing required, for daily safety audits.
• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations
• Maintains a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others
• Accurately maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
• Ensures security of company assets

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Must have driver’s license, and own vehicle.
• Must be bondable, and clear police check.
• Must be responsible, honest, and prompt with good attendance and commitment to quality work
• Able to follow basic safety procedures - strict safety policy, requiring wearing of PPE, and adherence to work specifications. Must be Fit for Work - due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
• Maintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co-workers
• Professional and Adaptable to client requests

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
