We are seeking a Course Developer in Project Management and Scheduling to help shape the upcoming 512 – Building Information Modeling (BIM) Graduate Certificate program, launching in Winter 2026.

This course will cover BIM integration with project scheduling tools like Navisworks, Primavera, and MS Project, along with 4D simulation, clash detection, coordination, and site execution planning. While knowledge of REVIT is helpful, the focus is on broadening understanding of BIM’s role in project management.

This role involves course creation and content development, emphasizing online and asynchronous learning environments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and structuring the course aligned with industry needs and best practices.
  • Creating engaging, interactive online materials such as PowerPoints, lecture notes, videos, case studies, assessments, and real-world applications.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure content meets industry standards.
  • Using diverse teaching and assessment strategies to enhance student engagement.
  • Ensuring content meets LMS standards and integrates with existing micro-credentials.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Building Construction Science or a related field.
  • Relevant industry experience.
  • Experience with REVIT (preferred).
  • Experience with asset/facilities management or ERP systems.
  • Proficiency with project scheduling tools like Navisworks, Primavera, and MS Project.
  • Previous teaching or training experience in higher education or professional settings.
  • Experience developing online course content.
  • Skills in curriculum development, instructional design, and assessment strategies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to staying current with industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Demonstrated commitment to human rights, equity, diversity, and inclusion, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
