A regional government agency in Smithers seeks a Court Clerk to support the effective administration of justice. You'll coordinate court operations, manage records, and ensure compliance. This full-time position is temporary until August 2026, with potential for extension or permanence.
We’re a dedicated team of seven - Justice of the Peace, Deputy District Registrar, court clerks, accounting clerk, manager, and supervisor - who take pride in supporting each other and the work we do. As a Court Clerk, you will support the effective administration of justice by coordinating court operations, managing records and exhibits, and facilitating courtroom proceedings. You will ensure procedural compliance, maintain data accuracy, and support staff through training and mentorship. The role also promotes equitable access to justice by providing clear, respectful, and inclusive information to all court users, recognizing their diverse backgrounds and needs.

This is a temporary opportunity until August 28, 2026. This position may be extended or become permanent. This position is based in Smithers. This position has full time on-site requirements.
