Job summary

Bartle & Gibson has opened a brand new branch in Salmon Arm and is seeking a Plumbing Counter Sales Associate to join the team. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service at the counter and over the phone, processing orders, and sourcing materials as needed.

Hours are Tuesday to Friday 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The company offers benefits, EFAP, profit sharing, RRSP match, and other employee perks as part of a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Post-Secondary courses in Plumbing is preferred.
• Knowledge of the Plumbing industry or a background in plumbing products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Offering exceptional customer service at our counter and over the phone
• Responding to inquiries and processing incoming calls and orders
• Processing orders in the system
• Sourcing materials for customers when currently not in stock
• Consistent training and understanding of current products
• Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
• Handling returns as required

Bartle & Gibson has just opened a brand new branch in Salmon Arm! This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected plumbing, heating, and electrical company and be part of a new team. We are currently in search of a team member to conduct Plumbing Counter Sales. The hours for this role are Tuesday to Friday from 6:30a.m to 3:30p.m and Saturday from 9:00a.m to 1:00p.m.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Offering exceptional customer service at our counter and over the phone
• Responding to inquiries and processing incoming calls and orders
• Processing orders in the system
• Sourcing materials for customers when currently not in stock
• Consistent training and understanding of current products
• Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
• Handling returns as required
• Keeping counter and sales area clean
• Merchandising and showcasing product
• Other duties as required

• Ability to develop long-term relationships and generate referrals from your customers
• Impeccable organizational skills with high attention to detail

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
