Job summary

Bartle & Gibson is seeking a career-oriented individual to join our Customer Service team in the Electrical division. This role promises a dynamic and rewarding environment where you will handle electrical counter sales and product returns while fostering customer relationships.

Your responsibilities will include responding to customer inquiries, purchasing materials, and ensuring satisfaction in product service.

We are currently in search of a career orientated person to join our Customer Service team, Electrical division. The position operates in a fast paced, dynamic, rewarding environment and will assume responsibility for all electrical counter sales and product returns while providing expertise as a member of the customer service team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responding to inquiries and processing incoming calls and orders
• Purchasing materials for customers and sales negotiations
• Sourcing materials for customers when currently not in stock
• Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
• Ensuring that customers are satisfied with order taking, product, pricing, deliveries and overall service
• Counter Sales and handling returns as required
• Other duties as required

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Exceptional customer service
• Ability to warm up and develop rapport with potential customers
• Ability to develop long term relationships and generate referrals from your customers
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, both verbal and written
• Self-motivated; able to function effectively both independently and as a member of a team

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• Previous experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate
• Knowledge of the electrical industry is considered an asset
