Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin are hiring a Contract Administrator to manage and administer contracts across their Saskatoonclient’s full lifecycle. This role works closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure contracts are developed, executed, and managed in compliance with company policies, business needs, and applicable legislation.

This is an immediate temporary role based in Saskatoon, SK onsite with the potential to extend.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop RFPs, RFQs, etc. including commercial and contractual terms
  • Evaluate vendor proposals and lead contract negotiations
  • Provide post-contract support, including:
  • Vendor dispute resolution
  • Performance management
  • Incentives and liquidated damages provisions
  • Contract changes and terminations
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and contractors to support cost efficiency and timely delivery
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure contracts align with policies, procedures, and legal requirements
  • Work closely with contract owners and key stakeholders to ensure contracting processes are completed on time and meet business requirements
  • Comply with all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Administration, Management, Commerce, Law, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in contract administration and strategic sourcing, with progressively increasing responsibility
  • Proven experience managing large, complex contracts
  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP
  • SCMP designation is required or considered a strong asset
