Job summary

A leading project management company in Southwestern Ontario is seeking a Site Supervisor to manage contractors, ensure project safety, and schedule resources effectively. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supervising crews, strong communication skills, and a commitment to health and safety. This role will involve compliance with project commitments and liaising with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications

  • Experience supervising crews and hands-on ground experience.
  • Strong ability to communicate with Site Superintendent and teams.
  • Must have previous mine site supervisor experience.

Job description
Role Overview
  • Ensure projects are carried out safely and to ensure that project scopes of work and schedules are met
  • Track and review Contractors' schedules from mobilisation through to close out Review, monitor and have knowledge of contractual obligations through accurate Contract Summaries
  • Manage interfaces with Site / Operations and other parties to ensure planned and fluent project execution Assist project leads (SOW owners) with completion of punch list and rectification works Implement efficient vendor management and direct site Supervision for site based activities
  • Assist with the co-ordination of resource scheduling including the management of SAP Time confirmations.
  • Proven ability to assist the superintendent with management of HSEQ activities, including incident investigations, hazard rectification and regular reviews policies, guidance notes, procedures and the implementation of the same
Essential Experience

the Successful candidate will possess :

  • Experience supervising crews and having crews reporting to themselves (hands on ground experience)
  • Confidence and experience in contractor liaison and management
  • Strong collaboration required between vendor providers
  • Communicate and collaborate with Site Superintendent, Project Managers and Engineers on a regular basis to ensure that appropriate project commitments are met.
  • Demonstrate a strong Health and Safety culture

  • RIIVEH201 / RIIVEH305 Driver Training
  • Must have previous Mine site supervisor experience
