Job description
Overview

Within our Incident Response team (DFIR), the advisor contributes to the proactive aspect of cybersecurity intervention services. They play a key role in organizational preparedness and resilience against cyber incidents, notably through the execution of incident simulations (tabletop exercises, technical simulations) and Readiness Assessments (maturity evaluations, strategic advice, improvement plans).

This role is intended for a cybersecurity enthusiast, comfortable with both project management and communication with senior leadership and technical teams, and who wishes to have a tangible impact on the cybersecurity posture of Canadian organizations.

What you will do
  • Plan, design, and lead incident simulation exercises (technical and strategic) tailored to the client’s reality and maturity level.
  • Conduct readiness assessments to evaluate an organization’s preparedness for cyber incidents (governance, response plans, roles and responsibilities, technical capabilities).
  • Draft clear and structured reports, evaluations, and recommendations for executive committees, CISOs, and IT teams.
  • Support clients in updating or creating their incident response plans, procedures, and playbooks.
What you bring to the role
  • Degree in cybersecurity, computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in cybersecurity.
  • Strong skills in writing, communication, and simplifying complex concepts.
  • Good understanding of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27035, MITRE ATT&CK, etc.).
  • Experience in writing professional reports and strategic recommendations.
  • Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.
