Key responsibility:

Virtusa is looking for an experienced Lead Recruiter to join its Talent Acquisition team. S/he will fully manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle and will be expected to develop strong relationships with hiring managers while finding the best recruitment strategy and create a positive candidate experience.

Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources with 6-8 years of work experience in recruitment and similar functions
  • Candidate should have a valid work permit to work in Canada (no sponsorship provided).
Good to have:
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders
  • Bilingual is ideal, but must have an excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Good understanding of local laws, EEO and hiring process
  • Experience working in a global environment
Role and Responsibilities (But Not Limited To):
  • Be the main point of contact for hiring Managers, candidates, and third-party recruiting related services
  • Identify Talent Acquisition trends and gaps for quick suggestions and hiring the right talent
  • Ensure adherence to recruitment standard, compliance process within the team
  • Vendor management and stake-holder management
  • Innovative ideas and approaches for Talent Acquisition
  • Experience using social media, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social recruiting platforms
  • Maturity and demonstrated professionalism with the ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information
  • Strong communications, analytical, and customer service skills
