What You'll Do
- Ensuring all project objectives and standards are met, and finding solutions to problems as they arise.
- Working within the project and operations teams to ensure the project is planned in a manner that meets and exceeds all objectives, and ensuring it is completed on time and within budget.
- Being a skillful delegator, adept at identifying crucial aspects of the project and prioritizing them—while staying on top of all other aspects of the site.
- Responsible for in‑field training, support, and development of construction team members.
- Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients and inspectors; promoting and demonstrating CSCL’s core service values.
- Contributing to, reviewing, and/or revising:
- Schedules
- Work breakdown structure (WBS)
- Requests for Information (RFI)
- Sub‑Contractor RFPs
- Cost savings recommendations
- Working with project managers to follow and maintain project documents and information as per Quality Assurance Procedure, Project Management Process and Control of Documents Procedure as required.
- Working with project managers to follow projects’ change management processes, both internally and externally, to capture changes to design, costs, and schedule.
- Contributing to the development and tracking of project schedules and milestones including progress reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
- Providing feedback to management regarding project health, budget, and schedule, as well as updates and manpower, material and equipment requirements.
- Ensuring field staff are aware of all internal and external safety requirements, as they pertain to worksites or clients, and are adhered to.
- Actively participating in and supporting corporate Health, Safety and Environment policies and ensuring that project team members have adequate training for their assigned roles as well as their compliance with CSCL HSE initiatives.
- Prioritizing work assignments in alignment with branch objectives.
- Completing current week time sheet approvals later than 10 am MT the following Monday.
