Position Summary

The Computer Hardware Technician will work with reputable brands, gaining exposure to a wide range of POS products, ATMs, and merchant devices. This role offers an excellent learning opportunity, working with customers from various retail sectors. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, self-motivated, technically savvy, possesses a valid driver’s license, and owns a reliable vehicle. Regular on-call shifts, after-hours, and weekend availability are required.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Perform quick repairs on POS equipment, peripherals, PCs, and networking devices
  • Execute install, move, add, and change (IMAC) projects
  • Follow work order processes accurately
  • Maintain service stock levels
  • Adhere to Service Level Agreements
  • Communicate professionally and tactfully
Qualifications
  • A+ Certification is a plus
  • Experience with Self-Checkout & POS systems is an asset
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Technically and mechanically proficient
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • On-site service experience required
  • Citizen or permanent resident status
