In this camp based, fly in fly out role, as a Commissary, Receiving & Inventory Coordinator at MATRIX Camps and Logistics, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Managing the flow of materials and ensuring that all necessary supplies are available to support mining operations and all other activities related to warehouse such as receipt, delivery, storage, and inventory of camp and food supplies.

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the entire Commissary, selling products to camp guests using the POS system provided.
  • Maintain accurate records of all materials, food stores, and supplies in the inventory system while ensuring accountability.
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to avoid shortages.
  • Implement proper storage for supplied goods in accordance with Health and Safety requirements.
  • Organize and arrange materials in a systematic manner for easy retrieval
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure alignment between physical and theoretical inventory and maintain signed hard copies of inventory documents in the office.
  • Supervise the expiration dates of products, giving priority to items with shorter shelf lives. Proactively inform relevant Team about approaching expirations to facilitate timely consumption before depletion.
  • Minimize spoilage and inventory discrepancies and take accountability for any instance exceeding the standard level.
  • Generate and maintain comprehensive documentation related to inventory, including receipts, issues, and returns.
  • Ensure the working areas are clean and always organized; and
  • Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
  • Oversee/ create detailed reports based around consumption of food, water, laundry and maintenance projects.
  • Help coordinate movement of products between sea-cans, site transfers and warehouses.
Requirements
  • Three (3) years’ experience as an inventory clerk, or receiving clerk, or in a similar role, preferably in the mining or construction industry;
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is an asset;
  • Knowledge and experience working with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to safely undertake, physical lifting, moving and associated organization of supplies, materials and groceries, up to 30 pounds.
  • Knowledge of camp operations and logistics is an asset.

$325/day - $350/day depending on skills and experience.
