Our client is a well-established and growing civil construction firm with operations throughout the Lower Mainland. About the Opportunity
This is a full-time, permanent Civil Foreman position offering the chance to lead high-impact civil construction projects throughout the region. You’ll lead a dedicated crew on key infrastructure projects involving deep utilities, roadworks, and large-scale earthworks across the region. You’ll play a central role in daily site operations, working closely with management to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality project delivery.

Compensation details:

• Hourly Rate: $45–$55/hour

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of civil construction crews, including laborers and equipment operators
• Read and implement construction drawings, plans, and specifications with precision
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, environmental guidelines, and quality standards
• Lead daily planning sessions, toolbox talks, and on-site safety meetings
• Monitor project timelines, crew productivity, and site conditions; provide regular updates to the Project Manager or Superintendent
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve on-site challenges related to scheduling, quality, or safety concerns
• Ensure tools and equipment are used correctly and maintained in good working condition.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of civil construction experience
• Focus on Deep utilities / Road works & Earth Works
• Must be able to interpret blueprints & drawings and grades
• Be able to lead Site Safety meetings + daily team and trades meetings (Toolbox meetings)
• Local Lower Mainland Vancouver experience
