This project is based on integration of Epic (EHR) with Citrix for a large healthcare client.
Citrix and Epic are two separate technologies commonly used together in healthcare to deliver patient information securely. Epic Systems is a leading electronic health record (EHR) software for managing patient data, while Citrix provides virtual desktop/application technology that securely streams the Epic interface to clinicians, often enabling remote work and faster, secure access.
Secure Access: Citrix secures the delivery of Epic applications to workstations.
Speed & Mobility: Citrix virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) allows doctors to move between workstations and log in quickly, keeping the Epic session active.
Data Protection: Citrix helps prevent data leakage, as data remains in the datacenter rather than on the local, often mobile, endpoint devices.
