Responsibilities

I am looking for a chief accountant for a dynamic company specializing in the distribution and sale of health and wellness products.

Your tasks will include:

  • Supervising a team of three accountants and ensuring the distribution of tasks.
  • Managing the entire accounts payable and accounts receivable cycle.
  • Performing bank reconciliations and checking accounting entries.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting processes and deadlines.
  • Monitoring aging reports and chasing up late payments.
  • Actively participating in monthly closings.
  • Collaborating with other departments to resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a dynamic, high-volume environment
  • Experience in SMEs or franchise networks (an asset)
  • 2-3 years of team management experience
  • Dynamic, operationally oriented
  • Computer literate, fast execution (QuickBooks Online, an asset)
  • Bilingual (French/English) to communicate with customers and suppliers in other Canadian provinces
